I am 16 years and has always wanted to learn to play guitar. I have took piano lessons when I was 13, quit (Piano is not my cup of tea), and I think I might try to take over guitar. sounds like you have the ear music and that you should pursue your dreams … I did not start playing guitar until I played was 32 .. the ear … can not read music. also learned to play the mandolin-2-years (with the help of the Lord – because I play for him-gospel) and I am 57 !!!!!!!!!!! so go ahead and take your lessons … Fingers will be a little sore at first, but you "can". and by the way – I had no lessons .. you know it was sent from God!
