Do acoustic bass and electric guitars all have the same fingerings for notes?

My friend and I are planning on booting a group and plays electric and I want to play the bass. I wonder if both have the same fingerings for notes. And there is an acoustic guitar I could buy if she'll help me learn to play bass too. I know it sounds a bit dumb, but acoustic guitars, electric guitars and bass guitars are the same fingerings for the same notes?

Yes, the notes and fingerings are the same. A four-string bass guitar has the same notes as the lower (deeper) four strings on a guitar, one octave (12 notes) below. That said, a guitar and a bass has two different ways to be widely played and another meaning for them. The lowest on a scale (string length longer, and thus a greater distance between the frets) is one of these differences. More important is the way the bass lays the foundation and groove with the drums. As such, they have different rhythmic sense that what the guitars are usually the most time. In short, they are read differently. To understand music theory, notes, scales, the structure of music, songs, etc., play the guitar will be useful to the extent that another instrument goes. How much is a used acoustic guitars usually cost?

Looking to take guitar lessons, but I need an acoustic guitar. How much is a commonly used cost around? and how a new usually cost?

Now, one day, you can buy a good "playable" – not a toy – acoustic guitar for under $ 100. As long as you avoid the "big names" labels, you should be able to keep your cost down around that figure. Approximately 95% of the guitars sold in the U.S. market for less than $ 800.are made abroad and often come from the same manufacturer / machines and different labels placed in identical products. I will avoid the use of a guitar mainly because many of them handle problems that can not be corrected. The "good-ones" will cost almost as much as a new and you still need to buy yourself at risk.
