Acoustic Archtop Guitar

ACOUSTIC GUITAR archtop AIRLINE … BUT what year?

We have an airline archtop acoustic guitar we were told that it was a 1964, but we find no trace of the 1964 sale. Inside, it has a serial number L1508 and other regions it is said P-5 and N-5 are not sure if this tells us the year and if I do not think airlines match the serial number. It is obviously a very old guitar and I found tons of Kays and harmony that looks exactly like the brand elsewhere. If someone could help us understand what this guitar is so we can determine what it's worth, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. at the time, the airline was home "brand" for the neighborhoods they have not made their own guitar, they bought and "re-brand" them. their guitars were made by Harmony, Kay, Danelectro Find or Supro guitar collector who specializes in brands like that were usually archtop Kay Gruhn would be a good place to start take several good pictures, and communicate with them

Can I use an archtop semi acoustic guitar with an electric guitar amplifier.?

I'm about to buy semi acoustic guitar and already have a small (15w) Marshall electric guitar amplifier. Are they reasonably compatible?

You can use it, it will not be acoustic. If you are looking for a true acoustic sound from an amplifier, so you need an acoustic amp. But judging by the that your only running a 15 watt amp in any case, it works well. You can run any guitar through any amp, it's just a matter of sound your looking for. If it's just for you to practice or play with a couple of friends, you'll be fine.
